Dutch Treat will meet at Pappy’s Catfish on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:30 a.m. Please let Virginia Grizzell know your plans by
9:30 that morning so seating can be arranged. Pappy’s is in North Park Shopping Center (close to Ameca).
The new cookbooks are still on sale. "Feeding God's Children" is a heritage collection of recipes from members past and
present in an attractive three-ring binder. Some of the proceeds go to Feed the Kids. They are only $12.00! Please make checks
payable to Presbyterian Women. Cookbooks are available in the church office, or by contacting any PW member.
You are invited to a Taster’s Tea on Saturday, September 6. You will be able to sample some of the wonderful dishes in the
cookbook. More details will be available soon.
Feed the Kids recently completed a storage closet at the back of the stage to hold the bulk food we need to prepare the snack
bags. The cost of the construction was $381. We are accepting donations to Feed the Kids to help us pay for this closet. Any
excess received will be used to purchase food for the upcoming year. Thank you for the support that you have shown this
project over the past three years.
The deadline for the September newsletter is August 25. Please get committee reports and information to Sarah by email or
leave the information in the folder on the CE table.
