| The Remember the 1860s to the 1950s and Witness Committee Potluck Luncheons have been combined and will be on March 21st. Everyone is invited to attend. The feed the kids bagging has been postponed to this Wednesday, March 10 at 6:30. Any and all help is welcome. FYI!!! First Presbyterian Church is now on Facebook! Lenten Bible Study CE would like to invite you to a Bible study on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 16th and continuing through Lent. The study will begin at 12:15 and should end by 12:45 so that people can return to work. The theme for this year’s study is “The Upside of Guilt.” Martha Robson will lead the study and present six stories of people in the Bible who felt guilty, and who used that guilt as a motivation to make needed changes in their lives. The study will also examine the difference between guilt and shame, the “blame ball,” the importance of seeking forgiveness, and the abundance of God’s grace. Participants will be encouraged to examine their lives, but finger-pointing will not be allowed! Bring your lunch and your Bible, we will provide the tea and lemonade. HOME BOUND: Clydine Jones |
